Doctor Raymond Rowberg received many honors. Among them was being named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

Dr. Raymond Rowberg returned from his second trip to Tanzania in 1978. He then founded Maasai Health Systems to continue to support medical care in Arusha, Tanzania. He died in 1981, but the work of Maasai Health Systems continues to the present time.
